car wont start with out choke
So here is my problem its nothing serious just a little annoying. When i go to turn on my car she turns on just fine but after a few seconds the engine drops idle and dies. If i tap the gas pedal and activate the auto choke she stays on, even after the automatic choke turns off it stays on. But sometimes i don't want to press the choke to turn it on because i have a pacesetter exhaust witch equals to a really loud car in a quite neighborhood at 7 o'clock in the morning doing 3grand on the clock. Before i was able to start the car with out activating the choke and wait for the engine to reach operational temp at idle. So in a nut shell the car wont stay on until i activate the choke but after the choke she will stay on and run just fine. help!

Welcome to winter.
These cars were designed to always start choked; they automatically release it if it's not necessary.
You can push the choke in by hand to lower the rpm to about 2000 right after it starts; it won't warm up as fast but it will be somewhat quieter.
Or you could rethink your muffler choices if you need the car to be quieter in your neighborhood.
"Before" what, exactly? Before winter?

but a GSL-SE is in his profile and they don't have a choke. EGI uses fuel enrichment and additional air to compensate or raise the idle speed and comes on automaticly, I believe...

You're supposed to let a rotary warm up evenly, always let it idle till warm.
If your exhaust is too loud, then thats yoru fault.
Loud exhaust =! performance
Well thought up, planned exhaust = enjoyability & performance

but that's the thing it wont stay on if i leave it at idle i have to turn on the choke. my car does not have a **** for the choke i just tap the gas and she goes up to 3 grand until warm. But yeah u do have a point about the exhaust lol.
I'm not a GSL-SE guy but on 2nd gens that 3k rpm is the accelerated warm up
as your issue sounds, mine was wonky on my 2nd gen it'd sometimes kick up, sometimes not it had no depending on the start up temp. However you'll need to search, i don't think it should accelerate the idle if you tap the throttle, however maybe its like that for GSL-SE's
Sorry, never owned a -SE!, wish I did
