Talking no start

#1 cause battery is just diedm takes 80-90 amps to starter to turn over, lights take about 7-10amps, if lights go out when trying to start then battery voltage is dropping, probably has dead cell. Have it tested, if is not problem then starter solenoid or starter but i will lay 95% on the battery. rx7doctor

Clean the battry connections!!!!!!!!!!! An old timer in the tow truck business told me, 1 get the hood open 2 remove battery clamps,3 clean both post and clamp, "they make a neat little brush set for doing this , cheap at auto parts store" then re install and clamp tight. worked 54 years ago and works now.

Well, got the car started, just twisted the cable around on the battery a couple of times and it was fine. the battery gets taken out a lot so I never tighten the clamps down. Live and learn I guess.
