Car won't start

I had my car running today (84 GSL) and after about a minute or so it just stalled (choke barely on). Now it won't start up.

If I knew what the problem was that'd be helpful.

Umm, that is helpful. Thats takes you thru the steps to troubleshooting your problem and if you knew the problem it wouldn'y be helpful cause you know what the problem is. :-)

Well yeah, it's helpful. But it's not what I was looking for. I remember reading procedures a long time ago about starting a car that'd been started and shut off again before it had time to heat up.

K, so it was more helpful than I thought. The car stalled out before, we poured a little gas down the carb and it started for a few seconds.

Now I've got a fuel system problem, any good places for a newb to check? keeping in mind of course, it got a fuel filter change yesterday (and we ran it for a while with the new one in).
