This car must be pretty unusual

Hi guys, as you already know, Im in the process of getting a 7.

Went to check the paperwork on this rotor wheels, 4 wheel disc, fb "shape" seven.

I think this car was not made for the states.

the chassis code is SA22C650543

no metal bumpers, no SA interior...

Looks like the one Germany got.

Weird car

Any info would be great

Thanks guys!

You guys would already know that all the cars you call FB's have chassis No SA in Australia.
Maybe thats the same most other places too?

Yeah, FB was only used in the US and Canada where the laws made it manditory from 81-onward that VINs followed a very specific pattern. That's where FB, FC, FD, FE came from

The rest of the world uses SA22C still

Then... Why does my 85 GS (crushed) have the VIN number JM1FB3315F0899179

Go ahead and run a carfax. It will say one owner, and that one owner started in 01 or 02, when the guy brought it over from Germany. I can post pics maybe... yeah here are some pics...

I am pretty sure they do in most areas. I wondered about that myself, but it appears to be german words on that one thing in the pic. I dont read german but I would have to assume it says something about weight.
