car doesnt start hot will only start cold??

does anyone have any ideas why this my rx7 will only start cold and will not restart hot

From: Behind a workbench, repairing FC Electronics.
On the left strut tower is a motor with a cable attached. This is the hot start assist motor. It blips the throttle when you start the engine hot. Be sure it moves when the engine is being cranked. It'll pull the cable and let it back.

Conversly, you could blip the throttle yourself as you start the beast. I ditched my hot start assist motor a long time ago to gain needed underhood space.
