Hey guys. Approaching a month and a half of ownership on my 84 gsl-se. In the last couple of days my car has started to die when I approach stop lights. Using the radio, but that is the only thing that is on when it happens.

It starts right back up, but it scares the hell out of me thinking that it might get worse.

Any suggestions?

 

man, if this were a 12a i would think to check the floats. maybe you are somehow running too rich?

 

I'd look at this page for some tips. It looks like he lists your problem under #8 or maybe #5.

 

Clean the throttle body.
