Car dies in "on" choke not getting voltage

I am doing some armchair diagnostics for my kid's 79 which was running well until it didn't. We can get the car to start but as soon as the key goes from start to run it cuts. I also noticed that the choke is not staying pulled. Of course the engine is cold. At first I was thinking it is the ignition switch, but seeing that the ENGINE fuse circuit has the choke on it from what I understand makes me think it could be the fuse. Although I did visually check them, I did not bring out a meter to test. Im not thinking it's the useable link because the car will start. it just will not run in the run position. So I share this to see if there is something I may be overlooking or just some general criticism on my deductive reasoning or grammar.

Seems to be the fuse. The clamping grip was in need of some tightening.
