i personally like 1st gen's in either gunmetal grey, black, or silver, in that order

eventually i am painting my car the mazda/ford factory color called "blazing copper" its such an amazing color, like a deep metallic orange, ill try and find a pic

Those are my two favorite stock colours...

 

my 84 GSL is tornado silver, and i LOVE it

 

i ahve mine stock blue but its liek flat now and comes off in ur hand if you dry the car (no clear coat anymore) paint it either flat black or black then try to play off a black interior theme but keep most stock stuff
