Car is back from the Doctor! Good news!
Well as y`all prolly know, i broke my differntial on my 85 GS.
Took it to MazSport and got it fixed. They are AWESOME and incredible service
.
Anyways... After installing the rear end, of course, my carb went bad, or so we thought, had to replace the screens and my secondaries wern't kickin in properly. So we adjusted timing, fixed carb, tuned the carb, lubed tranny and rear end, got a LSD rear end now, and a HD Clutch, RB Headers, 2 1/2 inch straight pipe. And on the drive home i spanked a Civic SI with Headers and exhuast (wich is pretty darn fast for a civic) and i kept side to side with a v8 stang, looked to be a 1996, till we hit 4th gear and he past me good at 90 mph. All in all, its like a brand new car and i swear i hit 0-60 within 5 secs easily. And my compression is perfect they said. I am idling at 650 RPM. Even on a cold start it cranks within 2 secs or sooner. I have 99,965 miles on my rex now, and I'm the second owner.
