Can't Sell, So In The Garage!

Well, after the whole selling debacle, I've just decided to garage the thing until they are worth selling. What are some basic procedures for garaging a rex (I have an 85 GS)?

There is a really good writeup in the archives about this. This will answer all of your questions.

Wow, quite a chore getting this thing ready for the garage. Bump for anyone who still might be interested in buying it. I'm getting lazy now.

Hey Bliffle, I'm in Bakersfield, so I'd say about 4 hours from you?

Actually, I've decided that if it doesn't sell this weekend, I'm just going to sell it to a mechanic here in town that only wants it for parts. I wanted to keep it whole, but I think I'm too lazy to deal with it anymore.

For those of you who are genuinely interested in the car, it needs a new throttle diaphragm. It has 104,844 miles on the engine and will run perfectly once the carb is dealt with. And by the way, I first had the car on here for $1,400obo, then $1,200obo, then $1,000 firm. Then I found the NADA guide and realized I was only lowering the price to accomodate low-ballers on here. If it sells to one of you guys for a Good price, great. If not, no big deal, it gets parted out for around $950 (that's what the mechanic is willing to pay). It's in Much better shape than a "parts" car, but there seems to be not much interest in these cars nowadays.

Where do you think you are?? There is no snow in CA (unless you're from the high mountains such as Lake tahoe) Just park it, disconnect the battery and put the car on jackstands. Then when you're ready to take it out, post another "How To"
