Can I Swap My 12 For A 13B
Hey Guyz,
Can I pull my 12A out of my 84 GS and put in a 13B without having to do any welding or mounting modifications moving hoses, radiator.....basically i just wanna pull out the 12A and dop in the 13B and and drive away. So can I?

yes.
there is a little work to it though.
1) swap front coverplate.
2) GSL-SE oil pan or drill holes in 13b oil pan to fit front coverplate(not recomended but its been done)
3) if you want Fuel injection you need either a standalone computer system. or the entire wiring harness and computer and afm and coil packs out of an NA FC
if you want the easy way go carb. rip all the electrical BS off, remove the injectors. and slap a nice side or down draft carb 45 or 48 with a matching manifold.
4) aftermarket fuel pump. stock 12a wont handle the bigger carb and motor very well.
5) if your going to keep the stock 12a tranny. you have to use your 12a flywheel, but use the counter weight from the 13b.
i think thats it.. if im missing some thing forgive me. its christmass day and i have had a lot of wine.
