can i run fuel this way?
so what im thinking of is running a new supply line from the pump to the fpr. i have mallory 4309 fpr, from their run to the supply of the stock carb. have the stock return on the carb tee into the return of the fpr. and then run a new return line. is it possible or would i see some pressure issues?
The 4309 is a return style, but the return comes from the fpr itself. The carb is a deadhead after the fpr. There is no way to bring a return back to the fpr. Plumb the bottom port of the fpr back to the stock hard line return, do not use the 'silver bullet'.

The return is internal to the fpr, period. If you try to tee a return from the carb anywhere, the fpr will not regulate properly.
Just do as told, you are trying to over think it. lol

Since it's fuel, I personally wouldn't feel safe with the JB. I use the short piece of hose and a bolt. If you are looking for neatness, take the supply line off the carb, cut the return short and weld in a plug.
Sir works occasionally. I've been up for 45 hours, suprised I'm not cranky.
