Haha when I read this thread earlier, I was going to say that you had the centre link on wrong, and I actually checked the factory service manual, but I got side-tracked and forgot.

I'm actually going to go put the axle back in my GSL-SE right now. I just finished installed urethane bushings as well. It's good that this thread is up because I was wondering how that centre link went in.

Just jack up the rear end until it lifts the rear of the car off the jackstands. Then move the jackstands under the axle for safety, and tighten everything up. As long as the weight of the car is on the axle you'll be all set...

Just move the axles in the rear to the actual axle. Then tighten everything down. Worked for me, and i got an even gap all the way around, not like some people with the RB kit.

I just got in from the garage just now. This is my procedure and I didn't have any problems at all. I hope it helps someone.

1. Install the arms onto the Watts centre link.
2. Install the Watts link into the RX-7.
3. Install the two long and two short control links to the body of the RX-7.
4. Move the axle into position under the RX-7.
5. Lift the axle up, and slide it forward so that you engage the stud on the axle into the Watts centre link.
6. Bolt the two short control links to the axle (this holds it in position for the next step).
7. Position the springs in the spring seats.
8. Connect the two long control rods to the axle. You may need to reposition the jack so that you are able to pivot the axle enough to get the bolts in.
9. This is optional for you, but I tightened all the bolts at this point. I was planning to do this with the full weight on the suspension, but the bushings (Energy Suspension - Black type) permitted free movement of the suspension even with the bolts tightened down.
10. Reconnect the brake line and bleed the brakes.
11. Bolt up the driveshaft.
12. Mount and torque wheels.

Done!

I just checked my copy of the Black Dragon catalog (Winter 2008, page 65). It shows the Watts link bracket in the correct orientation.

Also, aren't the bump stops supposed to be trimmed down when you install aftermarket lowering springs?
