Question to cage or not to cage

ok so heres the deal. I found a first gen that i'm picking up for $500. The interior has been somewhat stripped. Anyways i'm getting a header and running car and carpet kit too. Granted the body is primer but solid nonetheless. anyways I can get my hands on a cage for free. Should i install, I plan on it just being a street car, with an occasional solo2 just wanted some of your guys' opinions.

Thanks,
Ron

Cage is not too safe on the street but you can convert the cage to a rollbar which is good for the street.

A half cage is fine, and will help with chassis stiffness (assuming it's a good cage). Just make sure you can't contact it in the event of an accident or it'll do more harm than good.

Excellent for mounting cameras for video evidence of kills (right, Directfeak?) and for analysis of race meets and stuff.
