CA SMOG Problems :(

Car is reading about 2500 hydrocarbons at ~3k rpm. There is an exhaust leak at the catalytic converter. I was told to adjust carb? Maybe its burning too rich? I suck when it comes to smog b.s.

I have 1982 RX7 gs

Just give up and buy a prius. C'mon, you know you want to.

Best thing you can do is leave that miserable state. I tried living there once, couldn't stand it. The DMV classified my 4-cylinder S-10 as a "commercial vehicle" simply because it had a bed, had to pay extra money to get it weighed at a weigh station, plus additional taxes before they would give me a plate. Plus, there's no jobs, cant own guns, golden gate bridge costs $7 to cross, no to mention the overall lack of IQ of most people. Sorry for the rant..... still have nightmares from that year.

check your air control valve, it should have the air pump air going to "port air"
