you could, but i wouldn't recommend it. i don't feel comfortable knowing gas is going to be pouring out if you ever go shiney side down.
i really don't see how it could really fail. it's just a little ball in a plastic doo-hicky, it's prob just plugged up. try soaking it overnight in some carb cleaner.

You'll be fine taking it off until you can get to the junkyard for another one. What are the odds of flipping you car? Have fun but keep it under control. Man, I sound like my dad

whats the diference between a fuel cut valve and a fuel cut relay?
the fuel cut relay also controls the spark,it cuts them both,but i was wandering what its significance is?
mine went bad,i think the computer just went actually,
so i went under the dash and just through a swithced pos on the relay,this happened about a year ago,havent had any problems
