Budget LSD conversion for RX7, S1
Budget LSD conversion for RX7, S1
My diff is currently on the way out, making bad bad noises after a thrash up Old Princess Highway
Does anyone know of any budget LSD conversions that will suit a 1980 RX7??? The car has a 13b turbo, S4 motor and box using standard diff (free wheeler) with modified tail shaft. A couple of mates are suggesting using a Hilux diff centre converted to LSD, but some say good move and some say bad move. Bad move, as in converting to LSD clutters the centre so bad that it basically becomes a locker. Then if I am to convert a Hilux diff centre, what year and model? Who is the best to carry out this stuff in Sydney? Can anyone help???
P.S I don't want a locker
