broken water level senson? how do i get it out

broken water level senson? how do i get it out

ok the other day the water level sensor plastic top bolt thing broke off and I"m not sure why it broke off but anyways how do i get it off to replace it? the black part on the radiator broke so what do i do. i thought about the potato light socket thing but im pretty sure thats not going to work. any ideas?

I know how you feel. It took me a long time to learn how to attach pictures to my posts.
That sensor is not in there very tight. You should be able to take something like a slightly oversized drill bit or an easy out and just get enough bite on it to undo it.

if you cant find the sensor like i couldnt you can put a m12x1.25 oil drain plug bolt in the hole it is the same thread and pitch, then you can just ground the wire for the level sensor and the light stays off
