Bridgeport numbers
Ok so when I finally get the car started and broken in, what power can i expect from the engine? It's a bridgeported 12A with a jetted weber 48 IDA with LARGE exhaust ports. I've been told 225 to 320. BIG gap
Also what can my friend expect from his 13B Extened streetported 4 port with a weber 48 DCO?
Thanx for any help.

Who's doing the port? Most people forget that the quality and extent of the porting is very important. Two bridge-ports can be worlds apart in performance.
Any decent bridgey will have the port opened up all the way to the start of the runner and the "floor" of the port shaped to promote gas flow into the two ports. Opening the runner up also helps keep the cross sectional area of the port constant which is good. You don't want to cut a big j or monster port and leave the runner alone as the change in cross sectional area will result in a loss of velocity. Probably cause other problems as well but I'm no expert.

Thanks mate, I'm still kicking I still come here every day but don't really feel the need to post as much as I used to. It's mainly because I'm too lazy plus after a while you can't be bothered answering the same questions over and over again.
