bridgeport duration

I'm prolly gonna go bridgeport for daily driving. yea a lot of you are gonna think i'm crazy for daily driving a bridgeport. but i just really dont care about driveability issues. all i was wondering was how long would you expect a bridgeport motor to last?

All depends on your driving habits. I too plan on going with somewhat of a bridgeport. If you rev the **** out of it, expect it to last as long as taking a whizz. Being gentle with it and it will last. Of course, it will also depend on routine maintenance.

The PO of my truck told me he rebuilt and bridgeported my motor about 15000 miles before I bought it. Ive since probably put on another 7k and it still runs great.

As far as drivability I drive my repu ~ 2 days /week to work. Its not too bad when traffic is light but if its stop and go Im miserable. Then again its a blast on clear roads and I love the exhaust sound. If this is your only vehicle I wouldnt reccomend such severe porting otherwise go for it.
