Cool Brakes; make soft paddle stiff

Any ideas? Got an 81 12A and am tired of the soft paddle.
I have driven numerous Porsches and Hondas on lapping days
and am trying to get that same "hard paddle" feel.
I haven't scene any AM master cylinder or found a cross indexing
to a different unit that would get the job done.
The car is street legal and primarily an SCCA autocross car.
So I am a little limited about how over the top I
can do on certain mods, like a big brake kit.
thanks all.

Have you drained the brake lines and replaced the fluid?

What have been done to the current brake system? If it is 25 year old stock, than I'd replace everything, get some stainless lines, high temp fluid, and some hawk pads and check your rotors...

Earl's stainless lines did wonders for the feel on my GSL, fresh fluid and she was good to go.

I replaced the Master cylinder with a rebuild and rebuilt the calipers along with adding SS lines. That got me a firm peddle on my FC. The SA had a nice firm pedal, but needs a bleeding now.
