brake swap rear end swap
hey,
has anyone put 2nd gen brakes & rear end in a first gen??whats involved?any fabrication.bigger brakes and wheels!!!i have a friend thats parting out his '91 rx7 and he'll let me have rear end,brakes,trans,seats,wheels,driveshaft,etc...i would love the independant susp. rear.it should be an awsome conversion.

We're talking MAJOR LEAGUE fabrication here. Unless you or a friend has strong machine shop skills and access to sophisticated equipment, I'd pass on that project.
2nd gens have a fully independent rear end also think the 2nd gens were a bit wider than ours, which adds even more to the difficulty factor. You would defiantly need more than an adjustable wrench and a hammer for this swap.
i have a shop that will do anything you can come up with.Lopez Racing in miami.i was just thinking if was a bolt in thing , i'd do it myself.
