Brake pads?

Alright... It's getting time to get some new pads for the Rx7. What brands/prices are reccommended? The purpose of the cars is heavily biased towards autocross, but they still need to stop on the street when they are cold and not cost a fortune?

I've heard Hawk is good? Which ones front/ back? Other brands? Just gathering opinions...

Hawk HP Plus...I think the fronts are like $52 a set from Tire Rack, not sure on the rear. Awesome AutoX pads, and great on the street.

Does anyone run with the Hawk HPS pads?

http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/hawk/pads.jsp

They say they're gentle on rotors and I'm wondering if someone can confirm that. Also, are the HPS model pads really better than stock? TIA
