brake booster valve

quick question im missing the one way valve between the brake booster and the intake manifold

would my booster be sucking vaccum constintly i heard it sucks as high as 16psi of vaccum and it will lead to premature faliure of my brake system this is second hand info from pineapple racing through a friend that talked to the guy.

this figures why i have to run my air/fuel mixture so much to get the car to sustain idel. altho i can idel at 750 .

which hose is it in manifold to hardline or booster to hard line.

i might go to the junk yard mazda sells it for 30bucks.

The check valve on a brake booster works in the other direction.
It is to hold max vacuum in the booster not to stop the vacuum from escaping into the booster.

How you get the boost is engine vacuum on one side of one or two dinner plate looking things. Vs atmospheric pressure on the other side.

If it is constantly leaking you have an inertial in the booster control valve. I wont say you can’t repair it but I’ve never seen the inertial parts listed for sale, They are not made for customer repair

I would replace it
