bolts, washers, and placing
Unfortunetly I bought a rx7 with the engine removed ,, the front cover was off along with water pump housing the front stationary gear, and oil pump and components I was wondering if you guys know of a lay out or web page where I can find out where certain bolts go and such,, I've put alot of it back together and i don't move on to the next piece till one is placed and all bolts are accounted for I am slowly trying to put everything back just to make sure I have all the nuts and bolts,,, after assembly I disassemble and place everything in labeled bags
This is my first rebuild I want to make sure everything is acounted for and labeled before beganning
Thanks for your help

A good start would be an OEM parts manual. Hard copies are pretty rare, but maybe someone knows of copies on line?? Mazdaformance.com USED to have these on their site. Ebay has CD burns of these on sale regularly. These manuals point out each bolt on the car, along with part numbers. You could theoretically order all replacement bolts so you'd KNOW you had the right bolt on the right place. Pricy though. An alternative is to get a dead engine and get the hardware off it. That way you'd see how it re-assembles too!
Good luck

Look in the stickies at the top, in the faqs and download the year you need. When installing the waterpump housing, 2 of the passenger side studs need a thin washer to make up for the gasket thickness on the other ones. If you can't find the washers in your mix of parts, they are 0.020" thick.
