bolts on exhaust manifold.

79 gen1, trying to take the manifold off and have gotte 3 of the 4 bolts but the 4th is extremely well hidden, in between the carby and the manifold against the housing. how the crap do i get it out?

Might suggest taking off the carb...just to allow your hands a little more range of motion...Its a pain... Some Japanise engineer is laughing right now saying..."what...you cant get that off!!"... Hang in there...it will come off!

And remember...if all else fails....just hit the damn thing with a hammer!!

the worst part is i can get the extender and socket onto it and then the ratchet doesnt fit on the end of the extender and i cant get my hands down there. its certainly a dilly of a pickle

distributor wrench

A distributor wrench made for US cars will work if you heat and rebend the 9/16 " end it will fit the 14 mm nuts.
There is a special tool shown in the back of the factory shop manual.
Just bend the wrench to look like the special tool and use a ratchet to turn it.
You might want to spray the nut/stud with PB Blaster or Deep Creep a few times to help with the corrosion.
