Bogging problem

When i get on it in any gear and go above 6krpms and shift my car bogs i put my foot all the way to the floor and nothing happens it doesnt gain rpm but when i **** into a different gear say from 2nd to 3rd it goes away any ideas what this could be?my clutch is going bad could this be the problem

Bogging

1st check fuel filter, if problem is still there do fuel pressure/volume test. Make sure float level i carb is correct. Run Strong cleaner thru tank like BG's 44k with about 1/2 tank fuel in case there is obstruction in jets.
Do all above in that order.
As far as clutch way to check is to put at stop and put in 5th gear. Rev motor and let out pedal if it does not die then clutch is bad. rx7doctor

Located at rear of left side along frame rail. rx7doctor
