I don't know but this is a great request. I have all of mine but they are very stiff and old (46 years). One of the large ones under the back area with the metal attachment is pushing up. Probably a source of some exhaust smell I bet. @j9fd3s might have an idea.

as far as a place, Mazda has all the parts, its more that the picture in parts catalog is really pretty bad.
even with the FD one, i ordered a couple numbers to see which one is which. it would have been nice if they used the size, but they didn't.

feel free to ask questions, or put the pic in this thread, i do know a few of them

If you can provide measurements of one or so I will make a parametric model (I assume they all are roughly the same design) and you can then simply plug in your dimensions and you'll have a 3d model to print. Pictures would also be nice to have for reference. If each plug is unique I can do that too I'm not terribly familar with these plugs and it's too cold outside (for me).

Are you printing in TPU?

Hey! I wasn't really offering a print service but I do have TPU and I can print them but I believe I'm beginning to verge upon breaking forum TOS.
To be clear, what I am offering is creating the model so that anyone can do what they please with it.

Once I get some measurements, or I get them myself (in the spring at earliest) I will get something modeled and post the model here for scrutiny.

This brings up an interesting point. The parametric model, for those not familiar, is the way to go. As stated by Yeti, it's just a form you enter your dimensions, and it gives you an stl file that can be printed. TPU would be the filament to use for this.

The other aspect is that nobody is going to make any money printing such a very limited part. Some of us don't do this to make money. I suggest the admins relax some forum rules for things like 3D printing.

I don't know why i asked this because McMaster car has these, I think maybe not all the sizes though. I have very limited CAD experience, but could you just pop their 3d model in and change the size to the correct one?

The quick answer is yes. McMaster-Carr is used a lot to grab common models. It's nice they make these available. You don't even need a CAD program to resize them. The models they provide can be put directly into the 3D printer software, called a slicer, and resized. You can resize the x, y, and z dimension to anything desirable as long as the overall size fits within the printer bounds.

I've used their models the PVC pipe models to print my own for a garden project.

There are at least 5 different hole plugs used on these cars. Here is a sampling of the major ones. I didn't measure all the dimensions but can tell you that from L to R, the hole sizes they are for are: 12mm, 19mm, 30mm, 39mm and 27mm.

If you search for "body plugs" you should get hits off eBay, Amazon and alike. I think most of those are made from more of a plastic material where OEM are rubber. I'm sure Grainger and McMaster-Carr have something similar. About the only way to keep things OE, is to scrounge around enough old derelicts to see what you can pick up. Problem is, not many Rx-7's going to junk yards now a days. Most relics are sitting, slowly rotting away in place or being crushed for scrap metal money.

Plus any rubber 45 years old is probably not usable anymore. @Banzai Thanks for the display of plugs and the dimensions. Should make replacing easier.
