BMC problem

Ok, i have sourced my braking problems to my BMC. The only problem is that all the BMC's that I get, won't fit.

Would you guys happen to know where I can find one that will fit, and what brand?

BTW its a '79

I am thinking that you need one for a 79 only. The part numbers are different in my victoria british catalog. It appears that the 79 uses a specific one, so does the 80. It also seems that the bolt spacing is slightly different in the diagrams. Is that what you mean by "doesnt fit"?

In Victoria British catalog it is part number 64-110 for a master cylinder price 79.95
The rebuild kit is part number 64-410 price 19.95. I am not sure about opinions on the master cylinder rebuild kit. 80 bucks is a decent chunk o' cash for that I think.

or go to www.victoriabritish.com to order a catalog. They are free.

Recommend that you always check your local auto parts places first, usually can get faster and dont have to pay freight. If anything goes wrong you have a local warranty and dont have to go thru the hassle of mailing back and waiting for a replacement. Advis eyou stay away form a kit. rx7doctor. Forgot to add when changing bmc, change complete brake fluid system, does not doing any good if you contaminate the new cylinder.
