I blew the master cylinder yesterday. The rear seal on the plunger let go and started leaking and pumping air into the front brake cicuit. Fluid leaked all over my booster and peeled the paint. I took the unit off my parts car and will see if it is still good. Oh well, gives me a reason to flush the brake system. It probably hasn't been done in 10 years and that' would be a likely cause for the failure. Check your brakes guys, wouldn't want to hear about any more 1st gens getting wrecked, let alone someone getting hurt.
