Black paint codes or brands

So I got my friend to ask my god son if he had a small sports car what color would he want (he does not know I am building him an RX-7) and he replied black Aaagh! of course the hardest color to paint. Who is rocking black on their 7 and what code or brand is it, pics if you got some please.

It's original, the top surfaces are not so good at this point.

Beat Black (code E6) looks grey in direct light but turns to black otherwise. (see thumbnail) It was only used one year on the 79 Limited model.

Brilliant Black (code PZ) is a truer glossy black and first appeared as one of three colors offered on the 1980 LS models. It was also offered in subsequent years on FB cars.

My 83 had the black metallic, wasn't a big fan just not deep enough shine no matter what I did.

Brilliant Black for FC. Correction, silver is the hardest color to paint.

The H1 Sparkling Metallic Black is great! Mine was repainted by the PO around 1998 and overall still looks good. It has flecks of silver and gold. I don't think it shows dirt too much but I do wash it often. I just took some closeup photos. I don't know if you can see it in the resolution the forum allows but I will upload for posterity.

Alright, they look ok. The first probably shows the flecks in the paint the best. It is tough to trick this little camera to focus on the paint and not the reflection.

The last one I included because it surprised me. Camera was about 3 inches from the paint. Is it still considered a selfie if you can't see the face? Yes, the paint is that reflective.
