you could, but since its a different style, and not to mention the differences between wiring, you may be in for a nightmare project. You'd be better off spraying or dying your existing dash. i think $100t2 did a writeup on this a while back... someone please correct me if im wrong
If you can find an S2 with good black interior, all of it can be easily transfered with the exception of the dash. Your best bet would be to find an S3 gray interior. The vinyl parts are a charcoal color, the fabrics and carpet are a medium gray with a slight blue tint. Black interiors show every little spec and dust bunny, the grays are harder to clean and keep from looking soiled, i.e., the carpeta nd seat bottoms.
Imho, the gray is the best color of any of the interiors, with the tan interior on a Spark Yellow SA coming in a close second,
I did find a black and gray check pattern that matches the S3 fabric at my local auto upholsterer. Molded carpet sets, along with matching fabrics and vinyls can be found in almost any color you want, if you know where to look, depending on how far or new you want to take your interior color change.
That leaves the dasn, door sills and colored window/door trim pieces to deal with. These can be dyed if staying in the same color group and going darker. Otherwise, use a top quality interior paint for the color change.
