Black?

Is it ok if the inside of my exhaust pipes are a little black? There's very thin layer of soot, but when I rev the car hard or accelerate hard, no black smoke comes out the end (I've had friends follow behind me)... Is my mixture bad or is that just normal?

Thanx

Any gasoline car will leave black deposits in the tailpipes. Its just carbon.
