try setting the valves on a porsche 914....and they have to be checked and reset every 3 months....it is slightly more difficult than that rx-7 master cylinder nut.... but there is 8 of them

I used to have to adjust the valves on the old Datsun straight sixes when I was into them, but only every couple years or so if they started ticking. Stupid simple to do. The original Z cars had some of the roomiest engine bays every.


Bob, how's that M/C coming? You get it out yet? I just remembered, in addition to having the car elevated like I did (which helped a lot, I think), I also had a 1/4" drive socket/extension/swivel. Good luck man, and sorry your thread took off in a new direction.
