Binge 'n' Purge... Binge 'n' Purge...
Just a thought on these 13BTurbo 1st gens. Is it possible to add the 13BTurbo and keep the stock weight balance by changing things around?
That turbo, the custom intercooler, and all other stuff probably weighs a lot.
Could you compensate by say adding aluminium side housings, a carbon fiber hood, and moving the battery back.
Just wondering if you could keep the stock weight balance without adding ballast to the *** end, aside from gas.

yeah i dont think its too bad really, if you look at the turbo and a 12a exhaust manifold and cats... i would like to get my rex corner balenced at a later date. but a fiberglass/carbonfiber hood and maybe fenders are definitly a plus. but remember in a completely stock 12a rx7 there is alot of crap thats packed into the engine bay.

If you're using the stock turbo, the turbo is behind the front tires. A FMIC doesn't really weigh enough to make a differnce, I can pick an NPR intercooler up one handed, and its a big ****.

The weight diffence is smaller than you think less tham 30lb to go from a NA 12a to a turbo 13b. With a total weight of around 2450lb its not much of a difference.
Most passengers weigh 4 times the difference!
