Well my dad has a stick on the car with this. I looked it up online and it says it was just and engine flush machine. My dad said that when he bought the car brand new he took it to some shop to get some type of foam pumped throughout the body to prevent rust. my dad said they injected the foam in an covered the holes with plastic tabs and painted over. there are areas around the car where you can see these tabs. Has anyone heard of this stuff before??

Bilsteins were also a great aftermarket shock back in those days too. Many dealers sold and undercoating/rustproffing package for new models, good profit margin and rust protection from the factory back then was very poor.

If it's the expanding urethane foam, then pumped into the frame, it is used to stiffen the chassis. I've never once heard of it being used for rustproofing. Here we just get things oil sprayed. Which I may do to my 7 next year or the year after, if these mild winters in Southern Ontario keep getting better. It's supposed to be 9*C tomorrow(well today, technically)....9...... in January. I don't EVER remember a 9* day since I've lived here. Supposed to be 12 the next day. Yay, I may be able to just wear a T-shirt while I work on my car tomorrow.

I have a product called Zeibart. If you take a close look at those plugs can you see a name on them? Mine says Zeibart.
