2 years ago when I had my 81 for a few months I was 6'6" 330. Getting in and out was a pain in the *** but once I was in it was pretty comfortable, especially after I broke the back of the seat completely off the base. Now im 6'6" 1/2 and 200 and my 84 is very comfortable even for my long legs (non modified seat too, lol).

5'11" and 230, no problems in the car but a diet would help that low weight race car....

Well, I'm 6'2" and 230 lb. My hair brushes the roof, but otherwise I fit into the car quite nicely.

6'2", 230lb. I fit good in the 7s with cloth seats (2 way adjusters), but brush the top in a leather seat (3 way adjuster). The 85GSL required a steering wheel change to 330mm diameter $60 Grant from Kragens: good thing it has PS (next time I'd just remove the pull handle that my knee bumps into). I've got my spare leather seat in the 85SE right now, but I'll switch back to the cloth seat when it's repaired. The leather seats have a thicker backrest, tooo, so that cramps the legroom.

I'm 69 now, and when I stopped driving the 7 about 10 years ago (in favor of a comfy Merc Sable) I soon found it difficult and stiff to get in/out of the seven and to look around for traffic. But then the Sable died, and I soon found my flexibility improved greatly in the 7, so that now it is more comfy and I can scan around anywhere.

For tall guys I recommend sawing the rearview mirror off near the roofline and put a windshield mounted rearview mirror low on the windshield so that it doesn't block sideroad vision. Makes a big difference.

I'm 6' 190lbs and it fit in there just great. I don't recommend making out or gettin it on too hardcore and what not in the 7, its alot of work to get comfortable in there. I'm surprised she fired up after. You know how cars and women work together, you mess with one, the other messes with you. Luckily she fired right up and I went a squealing tires at every place I could all the way home. Never again will that happen... ya ya I can't wait till the spring and I can drive er again.

Whats so hard about getting in and out of these cars? When I was in college I had 4 O lineman in the car. I was driving (6'2" 290), I had a 6'9" 340lb tackle in the passenger seat (he was almost stuck) and 2 6'4" 290 guards in the back with thier feet hanging out the hatch. It wouod have been a great picture. Oh, when I'm driving the seat is all the way back and reclined until it hits the storage bins and I run a 13" Grant wheel to clear my thighs.

6'2" and about 310. I also have the Grant for "clearance" purposes.

Damn. There's some MEAT on this forum. Sounds like a semi-pro football team would be the ticket. Except we've all had too many years of rotary cologne and wouldn't be able to remember the plays. or what color jersey to hit. etc.
