Lets go back to this thread some ...5years later!
My 1979 RX7 wears a 1983 12A with electronic ignition. I just removed the thermal reactor, fitted a Pacesetter header, a stainless presilencer and a stainless silencer.
Note the car is ment only for regularity rallies in my country and noise & emission regulations do not ally to this car.
After these mods the car feels like ...15-20% more horsepower but I have a feeling that if I modify the jetting I can get more out of it. I am also afraid that the mixture is a bit poor.
Right now my jetting is 100% stock and the question is if I should replace my jets with bigger ones???
Later I will upgrade with 48IDA but right now I want to stick to my Nikki. Any suggestions???
