Angry BIG WIRING DILEMA!!! (SE13b into 85 GS)

I need some help trying to figure out how to hybrid my wiring harness so I can make this re-egi fire my old 12a harness has this big extra connector on it and the whole harness doesn't unplug from under the dash like the se's did.

I'd like to just get it going but this wiring thing is really an issue the se motor fits great but the wiring doesn't funny how that works, just wondering if anybody tried this and what the hell they did to solve this one.

I've got all the se stuff and I haven't butchered either harness YET if you know the splicing secret PLEASE let me know.

I know you haven't butchered either harness yet. Did the engine run fine before hand? Usually the TPS and MAF are culprits in bad idle/low power. Many people don't know how to set them up and calibrate them.
My guess would be to disregard all the 12A stuff and swap the SE engine, ECU, and wiring harness in. On the SE's, it's all the stuff from the passenger's side.

In your situation, I would just go carbed. Less headaches, and more power potential than the more restrictive SE intake.

If you insist on FI, there are some cheap alternatives like the Megasquirt or SDS units. They would probably be wayyyy less headaches than trying to retrofit an SE engine and ECU into a 12A car.

BTW, I have an entirely perfect SE engine wiring harness and ECU if you (or anybody else) needs it in the future.
