im looking to find an older 13b turbo and rebuild it port it out a bit etc.. bu im just wonderin wat a decent year is ive heard 86-87 or something had a crap turbo. anyways im just starting to research this and would like any tips or pointers you may be able to let me in on. thanx for the help

 

Id have to say a s5 (89-91), would be the cheapest solution , since your doing a rebuild anyways....

 

how so the cheapest? and why woudl you say its beter then an older one or what are the differences or watever..

 

Cheapest might not been the best term, I meant you get use out of one before you rebuild it...

The differences you might be better off asking in the 2nd gen forum
