No wonder it wouldn't come out, half the bolts are still in it.

Yeah, I really got frustrated finding bolt after bolt, screw after screw....and still no luck. I just flipped and ripped it out.

I'll definately be more careful with the new one.

i removed all y red interior along with the red dash ugly color interior im going to black or grey anyone got grey carpet center console that kind of stuff and a black dash for an 83?? thanks!@!!!

Actually, I can remove the rest of my A/C equipment while I'm in there now...I removed all the underhood parts, and I will remove this stuff now that the dash is out.

jeez, that dosent look too cool, my first 7 arrives in 2 hours and i know one of the first things im doing is pulling the dash out to have it re-lined black cause its sun damaged to hell at the moment, looks like a lot of frustration comin my way

Most of the above descriptions are for the 79 - 83 dashboards. The 84-85 dash is more involved. I believe that is what Thecause is talking about.
