best suspension for 1st gen?
i'm looking to track my first gen gsl-se.
What's the best suspension in terms of shocks/spring combo, and where can i get them
also does anyone have any idea what pro 7 cars use?

head to the track and ask them. if your lucky you get a friendly one and he'll tell you all. some of them wont share ideas coz you're competition. and then there's the question of money...

If you're looking for track only suspension, there are more than a couple options available for you. Check out http://www.gforceengineering.net/ for the really serious stuff. Mr. Susko has been in the business for a long time and is very knowledgeable.

Pro-7 Rules spec tokico illuminas all around.
Ground Control camber/castor plates w/ coilovers in the front
Cant remember the spring rates , call Ground Control.
Set up is : max castor ,max (neg) camber.
oversize front sway bar, remove the rear bar and loosen the rear links up a bit .( use nylocks or double-nut the retaining fastners

Also, for on the cheap see www.pbandjracing.com . Look in the tech section for a rear suspension mod, similar to what stan just mentioned.
