Somehow, someway, I happened to take 1st place prize which was Best First Gen RX-7 today at Seven Stock X. Competing against about a total of 25+ other first gens, I really wasn't expecting it. My car is almost bone stock minus my RB intake and RB street port exhaust, although it seems they weren't looking for performance, but overall looks and people that came to attends opinions. So, they ending up deciding to pick me, and I couldn't have been more excited. This truly was an awesome experience to take this award and really pushes me, (only being 19), to pursue fixing up my FB and represent all other 1st gen owners out there. thanks everyone . honestly I can't picture my car another color, this one just really works well. I'll try to get the color code for you guys if you're interested, but all my work is done by through Robert @ the rotary shack

 

There are some things more important than performance. Overall looks including good paint, nice interior, nice wheels, and general neatness under the hood on even a stock or nearly stock engine gives a well rounded look to a car. This is what most people are looking for.
Mega power in a primered or multi-colored car, with little attention to the interior may appeal to some of the younger people, but not to the masses.
You have a nice looking car, and I would like to see more pics.

hahaa!! that was a good laugh to read. Well to be honest, my step-dad was the original owner and he gave it to me so I'm taking care of it and building it up, I know he's always excited when he keep seeing it become more then it ever was. But yea, I will always take care of it, I love the car, couldn't have asked for a better hand-me-down.
