Check over at www.re-speed.com
They've got Moser replacement axles, a bit harder to mess up. While you're there, check out some of the suspension options too. Great stuff!

tough break, and there is a gslse sitting at the local pick n pull here. I would post a wanted ad in the 1 st gen section. It has to be a gslse axle!! BTW, it's not that hard to do.

Bringing it back from the DEAD!

Hey Guys,

I just recently did a GSLSE rear end conversion on my 83 GSL. The car I got the rear end from was in accident on the right side. So I think my rear passenger side axle might be bent, I can hear whining noise coming from that side.

Is there any replacement axle? Or how can I fix it? I am going to change the brake disk and bearing on that side to see if that helps.

Thanks,
Ernie

It could be the axle bearing which is replaceable.
