The link to the FSM can be found in my signature.

I don't know what you need the size for as the Auto parts store will have their own part numbers and will look it up for you.

Glanced through the FSM and couldn't actually find a belt size for your, but as doc said any auto parts store should be able to figure it out.

If you look through the parts manual on Sgt Foxes website, it may list the part # for the belt. Keep in mind it will be a Mazda part # but the parts store may be able cross reference it. Simplest is just ask them to look up your belt and it doesn't hurt to take your old one in with you. They can measure it and match it.

Glad to hear that you got your belts. For future use, I recommend just looking on rockauto to get the belt dimensions. They show the dimensions for nearly every brand of belt that the carry that fits the car. For example, an '85 SE listing is here:

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...,parttype,8900

wow this is confusing. my car has the lettering and it says gsl and the engine says 12a motor.

but according to the belts i needed when i installed them it must be a 13b. hehe so why would the engine say 12a on it? could it just something aftermarket or something?

That was just an example since I have a GSL-SE. For an '85 w/ a 12A (GSL, GS, S), the list is here:

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...,parttype,8900

The 12A belts are interchangable with the 13B ones. That is why your part numbers matched up with what I listed before.
