Beehive banjo fitting size

I am trying to replace those seals under my beehive... does any one know what size wrench is needed to take that stupid banjo off with? i have to buy the wrench and i dont want to spend more money on them than i have 2.... thanks

Got an adjustable crescent wrench? That would be easiest. Other than that i think its a 22mm but ill have to double check that. Make sure to get the two 10mm nuts that hold it down from underneath the pedestal, they're a pain. Theres a nut on top too that i think is a 12mm, might be a 10mm too though.

i cant seem to get the right angle on the cresent wrench to get any leverage.... i tried that one several times...

23mm for the banjo bolts, and yea removing that thing kinda sucks, good luck!

I had to but an open end wrench for the job, could not find the racheting type. It was hell getting it off, and even worse getting it to line back up and screw back in. Be sure to replace your crush washers also so it wont leak.

yay i got it all put back together and no more leaks.... it ended up being a 23 and even snapon doesnt make a racheting 23.... the seals that were in there were like plastic they were so hard and brittle.. well my little 7 is back on the road finally.. high five..
