Battery relay thinger

I just changed out my starter wires because the old ones were frayed and arcing off of eachother, while taking off the battery post, i broke the aux wire that leads from the post to the little relay. The relay is on the driver side firewall, becide the coils.

Now i was just wondering if it would be better for me to change it out to stock, which would prolly involve splicing wires because i couldnt get the stock connectors out of the relay, or doing something different. Make something a little custom, IF STOCK IS THE BEST then il just switch it out. But it seems like the wiring in these cars is usually hated by most, so what can i do?

All ive found is that you can use the bussman fuses and get rid of the fusable links, so im guessing stock is the best...shitty, that thing is ugly sorta. I really didnt want to have to splice wires.

that wire has to be there. the best solution for looks and purpose would be to install a 2nd gen fuse block. search for it, there are theres and its easy.

thanks, yeah i dont have any second gens available, its really too bad. So a normal old fuse block would work? Or does it have to be the second gen one?

Fuse box

You could use one from a 323 as well. The second gen just has more output terminals
, which makes it great for adding stuff like an electric fan or a killer audio system.
