Bad Tune Up...help...plz.

Bad Tune Up...help...plz.

Today I installed a couple of MSD Blaster two coils with a ballast resistor for each, a set of plug wires (Mazdatrix) and some plugs (also Mazdatrix). So now my sweet little 12a is hesitating and bogging. Any thoughts as to a possible cause?

if you have a electronic ignition remove the balast resistors and that should solve your problem

Yep I have one of those (electronic ignitions that is)...an 84 GS...thx

Yeah the ballast resistors are for points ignitions. Take them off and all should be well.

Did you mount them in the stock location? Ive heard that they shouldnt be used horizontal because they are oil filled or something...Im not too sure about this though.

Yes I mounted them in the stock location. However, there was nothing in the instructions that warned against horizontal mounting. But, then I misread the instructions for the ballast resistors...so what do I know. ;-)
