Axial Flow Supercharger

I know the product has been dead for a few years on the RX8 club boards with people waiting forever for any sort of results.. i was thinking it would be pretty unique to try and put one on my carbed 12a.. i was thinking in the place where my A/C pump used to be? it seemed that it was really just an ECU programming issue they were having for the rx-8 and being a carbed 7 it would take all that out of the equation... and i know itll be a bit of custom fab but i think it would be worth it if i can get ahold of one of the superchargers.... Anyone have any opinions?

If you can afford to take the car off the road and have the funds and skills to fabricate what you need to make it work (brackets, plumbing, etc.), go for it! Nice superchargers don't come cheap, so I'm going the turbo route. Check out tweakit.net for a set of gilmore drive pulleys and a belt-if your 'charger has the same type of drive system you'll need a different belt but I have the kit and it's beautiful. I don't know if they have a kit for a 12a, but I'm sure somebody else on here could tell you if the e-shaft pulleys, water pump pulleys, and alt. pulleys are interchangable or not.

If you do choose to use this supercharger, be sure to keep us updated on the progress!
