First of all i must say that it was many years since i read english in school, hope you people understand me anyway!

Rearaxle of the car is a Volvo group A (aluminium, thatīs how we spell it in sweden). Team Mohlin had a lot of problems with it in the beginning of raceseason, leaking a lot of oil. After there last raceweek it seems like it was a good idea to add a oilcooler, woila no more problems with oil.

Other news about team Mohlin and the car.

2003 they was racing in Nordic Thundercars, with two classes based on enginesize. Mikael made it so good that he won his class for small engines and even took the total championship independet of engine-class. That was not popular among the fourstroke-lovers, that could be one of the reason why the class changed name for this year to Supercars. In Supercars all competitors are driving in same class. Compared with last season itīs now much tougher for Mikael at racetrack. Now when all race in same class will the big boys in there huge musclecars possibly put Mikael of track if neccesary to stop him from winning.

So far this year Supercars have been racing for 6 times and Mikael is placed second in the championship, no victorys yet but Mikael is always in positions where he get lots of points.

Next raceweekend will be 28-29 of august at Rudskogen in Norway, we have been talking friendly to the mighty god of rain. Rain at race makes it lot easier for Mikael to take a victory. In wet conditions heīs the king of track!

Homepage of the supercars: http://www.supercars.se

For they who understand the norwegian language there is a site with live updates from races at: http://www.racingnm.no

Team Mohlin got there own subdomain at my homepage, still in swedish but i will try to translate it into english. http://mohlin.wankeltrim.se

Future!
Changes made on the FB during winterseason did not make the car faster, it was to well built from the beginning so evolutions of chassi seems impossible. Probably they will try to sell the car after this season, they asked me if i could help them find a RX-7 FD body or even better a dito RX-8. In there next project they will design a car with enough space in enginebay for some kind of supercharging, itīs not possible in there RX-7 FB as it seems.

Winterseason, uhu!?

Visit supercars homepage and check the old Studebaker. Not the best car at track but a lot of charm.
http://www.supercars.se

Wet conditions+V8+lot of power=bad combination, he he.

Wet conditions+Rotary engine+icecold driver=racewinner, no discusion!

This is the car that inspired me to seek out the Mechanical Fuel Injection. This same system was used in the early 80's on the 12a and 13b track cars. I have found no spec's so far on this fuel delivery system, seems to me it would be better than the electronic stuff, but harder to tune due the cam system in the pump. Still learning!
And yes I totally did the body, the fron fenders are sick!

New video from the last race at Arctic Circle raceway, Mo in Rana Norway. I had some problems to create the video, mental blackout! So the movie is about: 15,9MB and eight minutes long, sorry!?!?!?! Rightclick and select: Save target as... or whatever computers with english language tells you to do.
http://www.wankeltrim.se/docs/movies...Rana040801.avi

Mikael starts in third position and will soon be down in seventh. Than he race gently to save tyres meanwhile heīs working heīs way up to third again. Than heīs plan is to wait for the last lap, than he will try to attack for victory. Unfortunately thereīs a Porsche one lap behind, damn Porsche! After a collision he kills Mikales hope for victory.
Mikael Mohlin ends in third position.

Now you can download the latest movie in excellent quality, itīs a real modemkiller 86 MB. But the sound and picturequality is extra great! Itīs when Mikael raced at Mo i Rana Norway. Taped with inboardcamera.

By the way itīs a temporary location of the file. I will remove it later this week. Why? Because i need the server to make a new homepage for my fathers autoshop!

Rightclick and select: Save target as...

Hope you like it!

Yeah. No way am I gonna read all this **** so I know who said what so far. That's team Mohlin of Sweden. I've talked to a car guy who lives there and he told me to fly out some time and we go see this car in action. Not like it'll really happen, but wouldn't that be cool. It's my favorite car of all time. So much work went into it. That engine is too damn sexy. I love the car so much I used it for a graphic design project. Here:

No way would I ever finish this sucker so I left it like that. I'm a perfectionist so that would have taken forever to get right if I had kept going.

I niticed the Volvo coolant resivour, meaning it's a closed cooling system, with the pressure cap on the resivour itself. Cool... I like it. Self bleeding.
